NAIWA 50th Annual Conference hosted by Southwest Area slated for September 12-14

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The North American American Indian Women's Association's New Mexico and Navajo Nation Chapters are now planning for NAIWA's 50th anniversary national conference in Albuquerque in 2022.

The conference will be held at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center on 2401 12th St NW in Albuquerque, and the host hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express & Suites on 2300 12th St NW across from the Pueblo Cultural Center.

The New Mexico Chapter has chosen NAIWA 1970-2020 - Empowering & Strengthening the Spirit of Native American Women – Past, Present & Future as the theme.

The chapter is also actively fundraising. The NAIWA NM Chapter is accepting all forms of sponsorship, including cash and volunteers to help with events during the conference.
