The 2022 North American Indian Women's 50th Annual Conference will be held on September 12-14 at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, N.M. The NAIWA New Mexico and Navajo Nation Chapters, which make up the Southwest Area Planning Committee, are this year's host for this milestone gathering.

Our theme, NAIWA 1970-2020 - Empowering & Strengthening the Spirit of Native American Women – Past, Present & Future, is reflective of NAIWA's five-decade existence, providing support and betterment of all Indian women and people.
All Native Women are Welcomed
Established in 1970, NAIWA was the first Indian women’s organization of its kind. With more than a dozen chapters, NAIWA is the oldest and largest network of American Indian women and their families across North America.
The Southwest Area Conference Planning Committee is working diligently to plan the 2022 event. We are also currently updating our conference webpages and conference materials.
Please continue to check back for updates as we continue to plan for one of the largest milestones for NAIWA. We look forward to seeing you in Albuquerque this fall.
